The GMAT exam continues to evolve in 2025 to better accommodate test-takers worldwide. The exam duration remains approximately 3.5 hours, featuring four main sections: Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal. A key update is the enhanced flexibility in test scheduling and delivery options. Candidates can now choose between the traditional in-person test at authorized centers or the online GMAT exam, which offers greater convenience without compromising exam security or integrity. The scoring scale remains from 200 to 800 for the combined Quantitative and Verbal sections, with separate scores for Integrated Reasoning (1-8) and Analytical Writing Assessment (0-6). Official GMAT score reports now provide more detailed insights to help candidates better understand their performance. Additionally, GMAC has introduced more resources for test preparation, including free online practice exams and updated study guides, reflecting the current exam pattern and question types. Candidates are advised to register early due to limited test slots, especially during peak application seasons for business schools.
